In an effort to facilitate a positive benefits experience for employees, HealthSmart provides a unique service to assist employees and dependents in resolving all employee benefit issues. Our Customer Advocate and Resolution Expert (C.A.R.E.) is an independent advisor whose only loyalty is to your members. The C.A.R.E. Advisor assists members with all employee benefit coverages, such as the following:
- Problems with life Insurance
- Trouble seeing a specialist
- Billing issues with the physician or hospital
- Assistance understanding disability benefits
- Help obtaining preventative services such as wellness programs
The C.A.R.E. Advisor focuses on the member and is there to address a member's concerns immediately. Every time a member interacts with a C.A.R.E. Advisor, whether it is positive or negative, the advisor documents the issues and looks for ways to assist the member, discusses solutions with the member and then acts on the member's behalf.
