IOA Points to Innovation and Insight for Successful Partnership

Since its founding in 1988, Longwood, FL based Insurance Office of America (IOA) has
become one of the largest, most successful privately owned independent insurance
agencies in the U.S. IOA’s growth has been fueled by its unwavering commitment
to serving its clients’ varied needs and by forging relationships with expert partners
who share IOA’s passion for innovation and achieving outstanding results.

Building on a foundation of success in the small- to mid-size commercial lines market, IOA
set its sights on capturing more business from the large market segment. Simultaneously,
IOA leadership embarked on a new strategic business plan that included strengthening its
focus on developing solutions within its employee benefits division.

For one client, this meant forging a unique market-based relationship between the employer, hospital, insurer, and HealthSmart. A central Florida construction firm asked IOA to provide its employees with access to the area’s top healthcare provider and physician network while looking for every opportunity to reduce claims costs. The results are "off the chart". There hasn’t been a drop-off in outcomes, member experience, or volume of claims, but there has been a precipitous drop in costs.
